Happy Thanks Giving!

The history of Thanks Giving Day  originates in ancient biblical times. A day, set aside to give thanks for the bounty of produce farmers reap at harvest time. Thanks Giving today is celebrated, worldwide, we give thanks to the LORD for all He has blessed us with.

What are you thankful for today?

Many families and people celebrate Thanksgiving with a delicious meal of sorts. It's a time of gathering, reconnecting and stopping to give thanks for all the good things in one's life that the LORD has blessed one with.

For many its another day of loneliness. So if you have a extra place at your table invite someone you know who is alone. Or decide to open your home to those who do not have a home. Set your mind to be a blessing to anyone in need and fill it the best you can or know how to.

Thankfulness in life for blessings we enjoy is appreciated by God. God asks us that when things go well for us, not to forget Him, but rather worship Him in thought, word and deed and this includes being thankful for all we enjoy and have.

"When you have eaten are are full, then you shall bless the Lord your God for the good land which He has given you."    Deuteronomy 8:10

"You shall truly tithe all the increase of your grain that the field produces year by year. And you shall eat before the LORD your God, in the place where He chooses to make His name abide, the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil, of the firstlings of your herds and your flocks, that you may learn to fear the LORD your God always." You shall not forsake the Levite, because he has no portion nor inheritance with you and the stranger and the fatherless and the widow who are within your gates, may come and eat and be satisfied, that the LORD your God may bless you in all the work of your hand which you do.   Deuteronomy 14: 22

A very happy thanks giving to all. Give thanks to the LORD for He is good!
